Ashcoast House: Holiday Cottage in Snowdonia
Jo, Paul, Mads + (Reggie & Roxy) - Leeds - 18/08/19 - (Google)
Fantastic place.THE best owners we have ever come across, nothing is too much & we have never seen so many attention to detail things in 1 property.
The kitchen is better equipped than a restaurant! Welcome book has incredible detail & info. Books for my little girl & games spot on.
The surrounding area & lakes are stunning AMAZING for dog walks. Would highly recommend to anyone.
Alison, Doug, Gery, Sarah + (Logan the shepsky) - Kent - 09/08/19
Had a lovely four nights here and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone. The house is lovely and the owners so friendly and genuinely cater for families with dogs. The walks around the quarry right from the door are gorgeous (if a little eerie!) and perfect for a morning / evening stroll either side of a day exploring. We would recommend all we did - Criccieth Castle, beaches at Abersoch, Snowdonia Mountain Railway, Dolbadarn Castle, Beddgelert (with lunch at Prince Llewelyn) and stopping at viewpoints whenever possible! Thank you so much xxx
Eileen, Dave and Laura - Shepperton, Surrey - 03/08/19
A beautifully equipped and immaculate house, with lots of lovely touches, like a bottle of wine, cake and toiletries. We had a busy, happy week, visiting Caernarfon, the Llyn Peninsula, Anglesey, Porthmadog, Llanberis and Portmeirion. Out steam train fanatic was in his element as we visited three local railways. The Chinese takeaway was great. We are planning to return and explore further next year.
Janet, Simon, Izaak, Myrtle + (Buddy) - Llanelli - 26/07/19
What can I say another wonderful stay in Ashcoast House, this is our second visit in the last two years. Buddy loved his time in the dog day care next door. Can highly recommend the Indian and Chinese takeaway, food was very tasty and excellent value for money. The house is well equipped and was very comfortable. Looking forward to our next visit in two years time. Thanks for everything. x
Phil & Josie - Oldbury, Bridgenorth - 13/07/19 - (HomeAway)

Thank you to the owners for a fabulous home from home! We couldn't have asked for a more well equipped and comfortable accommodation for our first family holiday to Wales. We will definitely be returning as there's still so much more to explore!
We had a great time exploring the old Dorothea Quarry right on the doorsteps and Dinas Dinlle beach with the dog!
Jaime and Glynis + (Dolly and Archie) - Liverpool - 22/06/19
Just want to say a big thank you to the owners for our lovely stay at Ashcoast House. This is the best holiday home we have stayed in. Very clean, well fitted out and organised. They thought of everything and more. Big thank you from Dolly and Archie for looking after them, they said they had a great time!! The welcome gifts were just what we needed when we arrived, a nice cup of tea, the wine followed later in the evening. Hope to be back again.

Thank you to the owners for a wonderful stay in Ashcoast House. They go above and beyond with the warm welcome & all the little extras. It’s the best holiday home we have stayed in and spotlessly clean – like brand new! Its been a perfect base to explore the area both coast & mountains and will definitely be back as so much to do! Our highlights: Snowdon via Rhyd-Du path, walk round Beddgelert & their ice-cream, Criccieth beach, Borth-y-gest bay is a gem! Had a nice meal at Black Boy in Caernarfon & The Goat on A487. Enjoy whoever stays next!
Margery and Sheila - 18/05/19
Fabulous cottage - so well equipped with everything we needed (and more). Great place for getting out in all directions.
Very lucky with the weather. Definitely somewhere to recommend. Love all the sheep and teddies!
Brown Family and (Buddy the dog) - Hertfordshire - 20/04/19
What a week we have had at Ashcoast House! A brilliant location; a great base for sightseeing - coast, towns and mountains too.
The kids (and dog) loved exploring Dorothea quarry, discovering beautiful Beddgelert, climbing Snowdon (Rhyd-Ddu, Snowdon Ranger and Watkins routes) and the teenagers loved the Zipwire at Bethesda.
The house was perfect. Immaculate and very well equipped. We had everything we could have needed and more! The beds were soooooo comfy!
Thank you so much to the owners, who were so helpful and accommodating. We will certainly be recommending this holiday home.

Well, this was definitely the most amazing place! Not only the views but the cakes, wine, etc. We really loved the fact you had everything for the dog in the cupboard. Me and my brother were especially happy as we had our own rooms. The beds were really comfy. The garden was also great. Lots of room for running around with the dog. We just want to say a big thank you for an outstanding holiday. Lana

We had a very good time at the North of Wales and especially at your house. We have seen so much and there is still more to see.
If we will come back to this part, we would love to stay here again (but only if we have the same nice and caring neighbours).
Hindley Family - Devon - 04/06/18 - (HomeAway)
The property was wonderfully clean and well appointed, the owners welcoming and helpful. They looked after our large dog as they say on the website which allowed us to explore castles and towns without having to worry about her. Walks from the door allowed us to spend quality time with her when not in town. The scenery and countryside were breathtaking and all of the recommended restaurants lived up to their descriptions. I can't recommend enough.

We've had a lovely holiday in this beautiful house. The cleanliness was second to none which is something we rarely find on our travels.
It's a credit to the owners and they should be very proud. Everything required for a perfect holiday has been provided with extra thoughtful touches.
All in all an ideal base for days out and a wonderful house to return to at the end of the day.
Hope to be back next year.

After years of staying in holiday lets this property ticks all and every box.
Most appreciated is its cleanliness, an abundance of towels and all the extras that you usually have to bring with you, but was provided here.
In an amazing location, great attention to details and thought given to the needs of the holiday maker. This is a real home from home.
Also catered for are our dogs, with doggy cupboard full of necessities.
