30th Criccieth Festival: 17th - 25th June 2017
A musical feast in Criccieth
To open the 30th festival a special concert will be held on Saturday 17 June in Criccieth Memorial Hall at 7.30 pm with Sir Bryn Terfel Jones and Hannah Stone (harpist), Alma Deutscher (composer, pianist, violinist, and child prodigy), Côr Ieuenctid Môn (youth choir), Heulen Cynfal (soprano), Huw Ynyr (tenor). Accompanist Annette Bryn Parri. Compere Emma Walford.

Art Show: Paintings, textiles, ceramics, sculptures Yr Eifion, High Street, Criccieth. 10am to 5pm until Saturday 24 June. Admission free.

Garden trail. Visit some of the town’s gardens between noon and 4pm. Sculptures in some gardens. Crafts Exhibition and refreshments in Bishop Gwilym Room, St Catherine’s Church. Two-day ticket: £5 (includes map).

The Esplanade 12 noon to 10pm
A whole day of exciting and delicious street-food, wines and beers plus live music, poetry, art, crafts and seashore safaris.
Tickets: £3 (concession: £2). Supported by Gwynedd Council & Isle of Anglesey County Council
The Takeaway Poetry and the Little Poetry Slam for children supported by Cartrefi Cymunedol Gwynedd’s Community Investment Fund and Tŷ Newydd/Llenyddiaeth Cymru

Paper Zoo Theatre Company present: “Shakespeare by the sea”
A promenade-style, site-specific piece; the audience will be required to walk short distances between locations. Please wear appropriate footwear and suitable clothing. Marine Terrace beach 3.30pm Free but donations gratefully received.
The Memorial Hall presents: Music in Criccieth at the Festival
Concert – A Summer Serenade. Celebrates 4 centuries of melody and song as well as brilliant piano delights. Alys Roberts – soprano Maurice Horhut – piano Bronwen Naish – musical saw and cello
