Beddgelert - Aberglaslyn Pass - Llyn Dinas - Beddgelert - 8.5 km
If you fancy a good walk with picturesque and varied scenery, then "Beddgelert Loop" is well worth a try. This is an easy circular route with well-defined paths. This path is sometimes referred to as the "The Fisherman's Path" or "Cwm Bychan" which is Welsh for Small Valley.
At Aberglaslyn Point, head up and over the hills towards Llyn Dinas. This is a gentle climb in a valley between 'Mynydd Sygyn' and 'Moel Y Dyniewyd' peaks. There are fantastic views all around you. Even in high season it is empty, quiet and peaceful here. In winter when there is snow on the ground, it is simply a magical place to be. It can get a bit boggy after prolonged rain, so correct footwear is a must.
At the top, after enjoying the views, head down towards Llyn Dinas via the well defined path down the gentle slope, then through to the Sygun copper mines and back to Beddgelert for a well deserved drink or a pub meal. Bliss...
